Fix the USB Charging disabled problem after installing TLP on Linux

TLP is an advanced power management software that is available in Arch repository, after installing and tweaking, you would probably find out that USB port charging is disabled. Don’t worry, this is really easy to solve.

  1.  Find out the USB ID of your device using the “lsusb” command. It should be an 8-digit divided by a colon like this: ” 18d1:4ee2 “
    # lsusb
  2. Navigate to ” /etc/default ” and open the file ” tlp ” (You will need root permission to edit the file)
  3. Add this line with your device’s USB ID to the file.
    # USB_BLACKLIST="<strong><em>Enter_</em><em>USB_ID_Here</em></strong>"
